Need a new gas tank!

I suppose i will give some info about why first...I was towing my nova to school and i recently moved my stacks a few inches close to the cab, so theres a relatively large hole where crap can fall through. seems like one end of a ratchet strap decided to go down and wrap around the driveshaft and eventually the hook end beat up the gas tank and ended up embedded and making itself an inch round hole. (story could be longer but i will spare the details ) so i made a temp patch, which still leaks a small amount, with some jb weld so i could make it to school. Where is the best place to find a gas tank, i don't feel like i'll have much luck at the junkyard, and dealer is a lot of $$$, any ideas guys

I wouldn't rule out a salvage yard, be it a tank from a gasser or a diesel. Either way just clean it up as best as can be done. Goodluck,,,,,Rick

I have a 35 gallon one, no sending unit, but a good tank.

I was doing a routine check on the underside onetime and noticed one end of the tank was lower. The rear strap need tightened. Guess I was lucky to catch it.
