I put the FASS II on several months back, and I have never looked Back.
My truck was doing the same thing. Was putting on another new lift pump and found out it was sucking air. Put hose clamps on the connection between the steel line from the tank and the rubber line to the lift pump and the problem was solved. DODGE SHOULD HAVE PUT A CLAMP THERE AT THE FACTORY. Just sticking a rubber hose over a steel line is bound to leak after a few years. I'll bet a lot of pumps were sold just for this reason. Ever notice all the aftermarket set up's are clamped?

Gieco 266 You just saved me 200.00 thanks. The connection at the lp from the tank was not seated real good. But I think I will put rubber hose on it from the hard line to the pump so I won`t have to worry about it. Thanks again
This was an excellent post, I was seeing goofy pressure reading on my 24v. I was seeing 15+ at startup, then down to 3 – 4 PSI. I was going to swap the LP pump out this weekend, but I put a clamp on the supply line to the LP, PROBLEM SOLVED. It’s stays at 15PSI + if I get on it, it pulls down a few PSI.
Thanks People, you guys saved me $200.00 cash + 2 hours work. I’m hauling a tractor over to Denver next week so I will see for sure how it behaves.
Yep, I'll bet several LP were replaced due too this problem area.
