Intake grid heaters
I was trying to help another ctd owner out with his intake heaters, and found something out about mine that has me puzzled.
Ok, on his truck, the intake heater grid cables have 12 volts to them all the time, but on mine, they are grounded all the time.
If mine are grounded, and there are no ohter wires going to the grid, how do they get power ?? iS there a relay or something that swaps from ground to power ??

If I remember right there are two post on the heaters one goes to ground right at the intake horn the other goes to a relay. The reason your reading ground at both terminels is because your reading through the heating element.
