inside the p-pump
HAs anyone evr been inside the p-pump.I mean really insidde of it.I have a brand new 215 pump that I got when I bought my new motor.And instead of changing everything out of my old pump I just switched pumps and fixed the kdp.Anyway i want to no what I can do to the inside of the pump to get more fuel.I want it to be a monster.But I dont no anything that can be done I am hoping one of yall can help me with this.So thanks before hand guys yall are awsome

The one thats off you could send to a shop like marty's, scheid's or any of the other good injection shops out there. Making a monster pump isnt cheap though. You could have that one done up then sell the other stocker once its up and running, or use it as a core.. maybe sell it and buy a lunched pump for a core?
How much did that new motor run you and where did you get it from?

its really a reman it only had 300 miles on it and the guy totalled the truck bought the motor turbo and all for 2100 it's got a 60,000 mile warranty so i guess its really used. sorry bout that.I got it from a buddy of mine that runs a deisel salvage yard for big trucks and stuff

You should send it to a fuel shop, not much can be done without recaibration. Working at IIS I got to see how that all is done and it takes a trained tech to do it. Do you know if your pump is a 887 or a 913? If it is one of those you can get a ton of power without changing a buch of stuff in the pump. If you have any questions feel free to PM me and I will tell you what I know on that subject.

behind the linkage there is a tag it will have 10 #'s the last three will tell what it is. you don't need a pump shop to get a good bit of hp from it. they can dial it in faster than you messing with the afc, plate and plugs. but i like the challange, i enjoy messing with my junk.
