Injectors vs Just tips

What,s the real advantage to having whole injectors reworked verses just changing tips.I know about the cracked bodys and contaminated injectors from debris.OK heres my senaryo, been gathering parts for fairly serious buildup on my 04.5 (atleast according to my wallet) and its been a long drawn out process and I,m getting impaitient. The plan is twin pumps and turbos,Helix 2 cam and springs ,head studs, built trans(already done full billet DTT)and injectors. If all goes as planned by the end of next week should have everything but the injectors, since I was planning on pulling mine and sending them out, but lately I,ve been considering tips instead. My truck only has 8,000 miles on it (dont ask why!)and has had a 2 micron filter for half of that, and always ran Power Service additive, and as far as boxs there has been a Smarty for 2,000 miles never above SW3,so my injectors have had an easy life so far.I,m looking to make 600 to 650 RELIABLE hp in time, and know I should wait for the turn around time on my injectors but it sure would be nice just to change tips and put them back in.Seeking any imput ,pro,s and con,s
thanks Jeff

ps: this is not intended to be a brand contest.

Lots of guys here run the DDP tips and have had great results. The difference in cost on Don's Flux injectors is the fact that he builds and tests the whole injector to run greater pressures and stand up to abuse. You can rest easy knowing that your whole injector will stand up to alot of abuse vs. just the tip standing up to it.

I've had great success with DDP tips on three of my personal diesels.

This is something that I have been curious about for a while too.
