Hydraboost Related Problems Help
I changed my hydraboost a couple days ago and noticed this morning that my taillights are staying on when I have already parked. What is causing this to happen? Do I need to adjust something so that the switch is activated to cut the lights off. I f I pull up on the pedal the lights do go off. I only have to lift the pedal slightly and it goes off. Has anyone ever run into this before?

Problem is your brake switch by the brake pedal. Adjust the rod going to the master cylinder/hydroboost, if it is adjustable, that sets the brake pedal height. You'll see once you look at it.

you need a new brake switch. I think they are 20 bucks or less. You can get it from your local parts store. It's very simple, just install the new one, THEN release the little black lever on the switch that sets it to the pedal. They can't be taken out and put back in. You have to get another one. Just buy one and read the instructions and you'll understand. I didn't get it either till I put one in.

Thanks, I just came in from trying to figure it out and I do see where the black switch is on the back of the little box. I appreciate the info.
