HX-35 Questions

I know of an HX-35 for sale for $200. I am currently getting more information on the turbo, buy is this a good price? I also have some questions about its ability to cool my setup.

I will be running a DennyT Stage II fuel pin, 366 spring, have my pump maxed, and new injectors. (Either POD's or 6X12's)

I also have another question. I am thinking about having my stock injectors extrude honed by Scheid to 6X12's. Has anyone ever done this, and if so would you suggest it? I am stuck between doing that or running POD's.

Any help would be appreciated,

Parker

the 6x12's would prob run cleaner and that sounds like a good price if it has the right exh housing

Its a good deal. but it will not flow much more air then your stock H1C unless you get a 60mm compressor upgrade from gilette or HTT. HX35's stock had 12cm exhaust housings and that will not work for crap with your automatic. Your egt's on the topend will be really HOT.really hot.

My recomendation is calling gilette turbo and getting the 60mm compressor upgrade for your stock H1C (whats on it now) and getting a 16cm housing because you HAVE GOT TO get rid of your 21cm exhaust housing you have now. i belileve the compressor upgrade is around 250$. This setup will run cooler and be more fun that a stock HX35.

I dont know about the hx35 cooling big injectors. you would have to let out of it and it wouldnt be as much fun as just having enough air with an upgraded compressor.

I don't think it will be either, but I was looking for a pretty cheap upgrade until I can buy a better turbo. I was thinking about an S300. About how much would cost, and what would be the best setup for this truck?

Thanks for the help,
Parker
