Got 6''?
Got 6''?
Haloman, eat your heart out
Many thanks to JR (Cowboy_Customs) for the long-term loan of the 6'' turnouts and for giving me a heck of a deal on a 'slightly' used bed and dually rear--I owe you one, bud! My truck is officially JR's from the cab back
I've now got the baddest dually north of wherever Wannadiesel lives

On another note, JR's IDI 7.3 has inherited my 4''-5'' tailpipe and is sounding positively evil
The vids didn't come out, but I've got a tailpipe compar-o pic to share:

And, of course, proof for Haloman

Bad, bad, bad! You are making me want stacks again!
Anyways, that idi's exhaust looks about like my ol 79 400s stock exhaust! BTW, is that a homemade tailpipe? Looks like a 90, and 2 45s...I mentioned building ones own and no one thought it possible or efficient a few months ago. Looks good to me. I like the the new look, I take it from your sig, is it now w350 badged? lol

Nope, still 250 badged. I'm gonna de-badge when I paint it. For now, it's a total rat
SRW front wheels and all. It took me about 2 hours to make that tail pipe. It wasn't that expensive and it worked really well. 4'' stuff isn't cheap, but if you've got a source for the parts, it's prolly cheaper than buying premade...and, diesels are so easy on exhaust components, everything is recycle-able
The tip was the leftover from my 5'' stack and the 90* was from the stack plumbing. I bought a couple 45's and used some leftover straightpipe and there it was
'Course, JR was right--6'' sounds sooooo cool compared to, well, anything else. I'm hooked!

I didnt have a slider, Greg does, the sound is just......... BIG TRUCK!!! The truck just looks like its going to kill you if you make it mad, it even has an inmate number on the bed! (from the salvage auction jerks)

Yup, a BIG thank you to JR for the long term loan of the turnouts
I did put some weight behind the truck today...they are LOOOUUUDD!! Hehe, I love it, and with the windows up and the slider closed, it's totally reasonable.
