I know someone here can answer this question. A guy I know has a 93 150 and he say's it has a diesel tranny. Could this be a getrag 360 and if so would there be any difference between it and a diesel, by the way it's a 4x4. Thanks in advance for the info.

 

They only used the Getrag behind the diesels. Gassers got the NV4500 and NV3500 depending on the engine and GVW.

 

Thanks Dave. If it turned out to be a NV4500, could it be upgraded to work on my 93 250?

 

I think it's a light duty NV4500. The diesel NV4500 was classed an HD I think.
