which one should I buy? I'm looking to keep up with the Jones' so to speak. Here in so. cal. nobody drives stock. I got a pretty decent tax return this year and decided to give my 98 12 valve 4x4 automatic, some more power. I cant decide which plate to get. I pull with this truck daily, its a real world truck not a thrasher or toy and I don't wanna hurt it. any input is appreciated, I just need some suggestions. thanks

We need more info and lots of it!! year, trans, mods, GAUGES ect... What do you want hp wise?

ive got bd-power #11 and it give a good amont of power but not to much to run into trouble.

If your truck is still stock you can't do a bunch of stuff until you upgrade the stock auto. Probably a #8 or #6 plate at most. But before you add any power you need to get some gauges a pyrometer and boost gauge atleast preferably a trans temp also. Stock dodge auto's don't like much above stock without being beefed up with maybe a valve body and better converter.

A 10 plate and a 3K GSK will really wake the truck up. Leave the plate in the stock position for your tranny's sake. The #10 plate has a smoother ramp up to the power band than an #8 which will let your trans pressure come up a bit to hold the extra power. (I've used both) And get some gauges. I could easily hit 1400* unloaded with a #8 slid forward 3/4 of the way and the GSK.

#10 is the best all around plate. You can slide it fore and aft to to mimic the next hotter or colder plate depending on your tranny condition.
