does it have to be
I went and bought a guage and 1/8 tubing to install a fuel press guage in my truck but can't for the life of me find a 1/8 x1/8 needle valve. Can I use a 1/8 pipe x1/4 tube needle valve instead or would that cause problems?

It should work. Just make sure It will not leak. Have you thought of using a snubber. I bought mine at tork tek and works great. I thought about the valve, adapter,etc.. but the cost of the snubber is worth it. Say hi to Rob and tell him hope his hand is getting better. You would need to install an isolator. You don't want diesel going into the truck if you get a leak.

Not true at all. When I worked at the power plant down there we got all our fittings from Brooks Valve and Fitting. Get a brass needle valve. Im not at work so I dont have my catalogue in front of me, but I will get you a part number next week if you want it. The valve wont be real cheap but its a top quality (best in the business) part.
