clutch questions
okay I'm contemplating getting a clutch for my truck

question 1:

I'm going to run a edge comp or a tst pm3 and maybe a set of rv275's at the most so 300-350 hp

I'tll be used for daily empty truck driving with the power box off (for max fuel economy) 99% of the time, tow the ocasonal trailer, maybe 7000-10000 lbs max (again box off)

I just want the box for when I feel like fartin around, burning the tires, stop light draging ect.. ( the usual crap ;D )

so do I need a con OFE or will the con O do just fine

question 2
what are the con OFE and con O like for pedal pressure and engagement ....

I'm fat & I got short legs so the seat is all the way back and I can't quite get the clutch pedal all the way to the floor ...stock clutch works fine for me, will either of those 2 be any different

question 3

how important is it that the flywheel be flat stone ground ..

I don't trust my local machine shop, they're the type that will nod yes when I tell and then just do it the usual tapered way anyways (I wouldn't know how to tell the difference)..

so would it really hurt anything if they did that...

all I can think of right now
Re:clutch questions
dodgeram.
I had the South Bend Con Fe put in my truck a few thousand miles ago. It feels like stock with pedal pressure.
It is grabby in 2nd at take off. It is still breaking in. I love it because I pull trailers alot on the farm. It is very
streetable.

About the pm3. I get better mileage with it on 4 than with it off. You just have to learn how to keep the lead foot light.
I gained fuel mileage. I would leave it on. Now on setting 9, it will leave in a hurry, but man it feels good.

The flywheel is a 13" replacement with the con fe. So I cant complain. I am a happy SB customer.

But are you really sure you're gonna stop at 350 HP, Derek? Got a nice little set of 3's sitting here looking for an owner
2) Pedal pressure will be as light as stock, maybe even a little lighter. Engagement will feel very much like stock. With either clutch that is.
3) Very important. Beat the machine shop guys with a stick until they promise to do as you ask >
