I wonder how much Ford pays them. I don't know why they said the Dmax was the noisiest of them all. My mom's Chevy Dmax is extremely quiet. To quiet for my tastes. Quieter than my friends 03 Cummins. If dodge would put a 5 spd behind the cummins, hands down, it would win. Oh well. I don't put much stock into what those types of magazines say. I go with what the people say and the people say the cummins is the best engine. And I'm sorry, but the Harley Ford looks like . Does GMC put a different size fuel tank on their trucks than Chevy? Mom's only has a 25 gallon tank and it doesn't get anywhere near 18 mpg. It gets 16 at best and 10 towing 10K lbs.

"limited appeal Cummins engine", eh?

Isn't it something like 75% of all Dodge Heavy Duty trucks are sold with a Cummins.

Yeah, it may be limited alright... by how many they can crank out!

This is what the article said; "While it seems the noisiest, that's more of a perception of the engine's particularly clattery texture. In reality, our dB meter perceived it as quieter than the GMC Duramax whether we were standing in front of the truck, seated behind the wheel at idle, or accelerating hard out of the hole."
