Cummins says go 15K on oil changes if you're not using CG-4 oil... You have 3 options and even though I'd rather not go with CG-4 to increase my intervals I've read to not use the new oil for the emissions diesels since they don't lube right.

http://www.everytime.cummins.com/eve...aintenance.jsp

So which is it CI-4, CH-4 or CG-4 that is the new oil they have to use on the 07.5+ trucks?

I would go with CI. Doubt you can find CG or CH on the shelves at most places.
Or you can use the new CJ oils.

CI it is then. Why does cummins say reduce your intervals if using CG oils? I'm assuming that is the new oil and doesn't lube properly.

MikeyB, CJ isn't an option on that link I posted above.

CJ+4 is the new oil required on the new '07 emissions equipped engines.
