Looks as though you have cancer bad

Mine was to the point that I had to rebuild my cab mounts, rocker panels, cab corners and floor. I was closing my door by kicking it. Not a good thing !

I removed the box, hood, fenders, disconnected the clutch, fuel cable, break lines, booster hose, unplugged the wiring harness from the firewall, heater hoses, windshield washer hose, removed the transmission and transfer case covers and shifters ......... then jacked the cab up and rolled the chassis out from underneath it and rebuilt the cab.
You may be able to patch it while the cab sits on the truck but in my opinion it would be quite difficult to do.........I looked at it and opted to do a full restoration on mine. I completed all the work myself so it didn't cost very much to get the truck back to near perfect

I was going to scrap the truck but decided to rebuild it since it treated me so well. Another 1st gen lives on !

And I no longer drive it in the winter......it saw enough salt in it's time.
Calcium kills !

is there a simple way to just lift up that corner of the cab without removing all of that? what if i loosen the other 2 cab mounts on that side, could i then just jack the cab up a little bit without removing anything else?
its the passenger side.

Summit Racing has them. They aren't exactly for a w250 or whatever but they are for older dodge trucks. Figure a bushing is a bushing no matter what its for.

Just take a heavy big washer and weld it to the top of your broken frame mount. I had to fix a couple that way also. Its not uncommon for them to break like that.

cool thanx, thats what i was thinking. just gotta find a washer with a big enough center for the bushing to fit.
what do you guys think of rust converter? i was planning to use that inside the bracket where i can get the grinder.
then welding reinforcement plates on the outside of the bracket.
