Bully Dog Question

I have a 2007 Dodge CTD Crew cab 6 Speed. Ive had the triple dog on my black 07 automatic and it was wild as hell. It would roast the tires off into fourth gear which was very impressive. I traded the automatic in on another 07 with a 6 speed due to air bag problems. My question is does anyone else have any complaints with low end power. On my automatic i could raise the low end power but it doesnt work with the 6 speed. It seems pretty dogish and its pretty quick but i want it to be quicker. After downloading the crazy larry upgrade with the update agent im not very impressed. Crazy larry doesnt seem very much quicker. Ive tried a Smarty and i was extremely impressed with it. 55 to 90 was unbelievable. Does anyone have any ideas

Might try stacking a box that provides good low end fueling like the Quad XZT or the Edge EZ....there are some other too that seem to work well but I have not tried them personally...

The Smarty seems to be very popular these days...but its a big chunk of $$$. Could always sell the Triple Dog and buy a Smarty....

Watch your clutch! It's more than likely slipping, especially if you are still in the process of breaking it in. I ran #'s 7 and 9 on my smarty and now stay on 5, because it feels quicker. I eventually figured that I was slowly killing the clutch. It's definitely possible.

Yeah i have used an mp8 and i was pretty impressed with it. I have a friend that wants to buy my bully dog so i might just let him and i'll buy a smarty. Im not sure why bully dog hasnt done something about the low end power. I know the older versions for like the 2004's fueled pretty hard on the low end. I havnt had any clutch problems. Ive had it since the end of april and its just about to roll over 11,000.

Just keep it in the back of your head. I didn't think my clutch was slipping until I started running random programs. Then it was clear. That and I'm probably starving for fuel. I want to get an mp-8 eventually. I hear they are the perfect compliment to smarty.

If you want that low end power go with a diablo they are .3 to .4 tenths faster just in 60ft times lol. Believe me weve tried our fair share of the triple dogs no match so far for the diablo not even the newest crazy larry they just released.

Yeah i think im just going to buy an Edge EZ. I've complained to bully dog a few times about it and they continue to tell me they are working on it. I really wish they would hurry up. If the clutch goes ill just spend the money on a South Bend that i know will hold up. Tuesday i finally ordered some wheels. I ordered 18x10 KMC Balzac's with 33 12.50 18 Nitto Mud Grapplers. Hopefully they wont rub to bad until i can get the leveling kit installed.

SMARTY beta 4.4 helps with the low end. Made a big difference with my 6spd.

the new puffer tune for the diablo is pretty good on the low end, they call the tune extreme rkl{real kool larry} puffer.it idles funny on my truck so johan is gonna tweak the timming a bit but it gets the truck rolling real quick.i cant enjoy it to its potential cause i need more fuel,i can drain the rail on extreme.

Yeah when i tried that Smarty i was extremely impressed. It constantly tried to spin the tires. It was so touchy from the low end it wasnt even funny. The Triple Dog is a joke. Well my Triple Dog is for sale!!!!
