best southbend clutch
right now i have a luk pro gold clutch but im not too sure how well its gonna hold up. I think it was rated for 400-450 hp. I was looking for some input on the southbend clutches. Im not sure what my truck puts on the dyno but i would guess arround 500-550hp. I see that the con fe is rated at 550 but will it hold more than that? I want to leave some room to grow with the next clutch. Just not sure that i need a dd.

Well, it's either a Con FE or a DD at that power level.
The DD will be a good bit smoother and last a long time, with the downsides being shift quality and cost.
I'd go with the 3600# plate and 12 ceramic buttons if it was me. Not too stiff in the pedal, reasonable engagement and 650hp holding.
I also highly recommend the sprung hub if you want to avoid spiral cracking your input shaft.

I'd run what you have until you have problems. If you go with the SD DD you'll have to change the flywheel amd imput shaft any way. Just drive it till there's problems.
