What should be next on my mod list?

I have an 06 6 speed with aftermarket clutch and a smarty along with stacks and tires and the usual. Question is whats next? I do not have a big enough fuel pump to turn the smarty all the way up and race the truck. I tried. It fell flat after the 1/8 mile. I also believe that if I did upgrade the fuel pump that my egts will be too high anyway so my thought is why do it if I cannot use it? Bigger sticks defeat the purpose of trying to cool it down and again creates the fuel issue? That leaves me thinking turbo? Asking you guys opinion because I do not know for sure what is next. If a turbo what one? I tow but not very often and not very heavy. 12k tops about once a year. Nitrous on my sleds sound fun but not for my truck. Meth looks to be iffy from what I am reading. Whats your thoughts?

I would go with a lift pump, then a upgraded cp3 or bag of parts for it, followed by the turbo. What does it run for max egt's and boost right now?

LP then turbo, unless you have a better LP than my 03 had. I just put on a Phatshaft 62/65/14, good to 550 hp. I like it a lot for what I do - mostly city/mixed driving and it's great for towing. The lag isn't bad but I sure wouldn't want to go any bigger. It seems to be a good match for pushing the stock fuel system (with a LP mod) to the limits. I used to dyno but I don't bother with that any more. SOTP feel and passing all the new trucks, towing up the mtns., is all I want. I'm very happy where mine is at but you might want to go to the next level. Craig

Right now your issue is running out of fuel, fix that first then look at replacing turbo/sticks...

Just be warned, right now you have more air then fuel, fix that and you will have more fuel then air, fix that and your back at square 1 and it will pretty much be an on going cycle until your pockets cant keep up haha. Find a good setup that works for you and doesn't break the bank and go with that...

Bigger injectors doesn't always mean hotter (with lower HP). Quality injectors will produce more power with no more heat. I went to a DDP 50hp an haven't noticed much more heat. I re-tuned the Smarty and I can feel the extra power without seeing much if any heat.

For fuel-

Injectors 40-65 hp
Arson 3 CP3 kit
Fass 95

Air-

Steed Speed manifold
Fleece Cheetah HE351

Other than fuel... fuel.

Snow performance Tow-Max. Good for 70hp and 100tq.

Thanks for the help. I thought most would say the fuel pump. My question though is if my egt can already go too high wouldn't it just make it go higher? With my smarty set on it's highest setting I can run 1500 degrees before it runs out of fuel. Wouldn't it make it worse as then I would be able to do a longer run and I am too stupid to lift? I know the pump needs to be done to go very far in hp but is there something that can be done with what I have to make more power. Hate to spend the money on the pump for no more power if ya know what I mean. I want my cake and eat it too. Plus I have to be able to explain it to you know who.
