Diablosport predator
OK, so I bought a predator programmer for $200. I figure with that price, what do I have to lose? Does anybody know if I can use it with a rokktech sensor, or should I just install the stock sensor? Anybody have any words of wisdom or caution to go along with using this programmer, this is the first programmer I have ever bought.

I used the stack on my 03 for 5 yrs and it worked very good. Lots of power, cheap. My egt was fine with the ATS turbo and 4" exh, which you have. I put my tone ring back to 0 when I got the Pred. I never ran less power than 100 hp and the 100 was terrific for towing. The stack ext. was my favorite for fun - empty. I RARELY used the stack cuz the Pred will do so much by itself. BTW, I had a quad boost fooler. I don't know how well they do on any thing but the 03. Craig

I used to sell Diablosport tuners.
For the money they were tough to beat. I sold them because they worked! You run 100 hp. tune and still get better mpg with no problem as long as the right foot is not to heavy.

Thanks for the replies. Like I said, I couldn't pass it up for the price, and I know the predator is getting dated, but what the heck. I loaded the performance tune and WOW! Of course I have to baby it a little, my 78k mile clutch isn't digging it too much. I did leave the rokktech sensor in for now, but might retartd it today and see what is does. I am going to use the tow tune next week, i got a trip planned to get a car in Omaha and drag it back to ID.

I got my truck used and I don't know why, but my clutch has taken the highest Pred tunes and now the TST, which is even higher tq than the Pred. You must really like the car to go that far! Western Ia. and Omaha is where I grew up. Watch your speed in Omaha and everywhere in Ne. I think speeding tickets is their main source of income. They even use old junker bait cars, setting beside the road, with a radar gun in the window. Do a search on Runza restaurants and try to stop. They have great cabage/hamburger rolls! Also, Cabelas first store is right off of I-80 at Sidney and there's a Runza near it. Craig

I love my predator. It came with the truck so I never even looked for any other tuner. I keep it on the RKL tune for daily driving and switch to the tow tune for dragging my fifth wheel. I have had no issues with the tuner/engine/tranny. (KNOCK ON WOOD)
