48re Trans which one two buy. Help/opinion ...

I want to start off by saying I have been reading a lot on here about the 48re Trans. Now I need help from people who have replaced their 48re Trans and what they went with. What manufacture and how you feel about it now that you have been driving with that Trans. I would also like to know if you went for a built Trans or did you build it your self. If you built it was it worth it or would you have wished you bought it already built. I have to replace my Trans because of a shattered input shaft and it took out the TQ to. I want it done right its the fifth time the Trans has been pulled. I want a piece of mind that it is done right and not going to break again. First 4 times was the dealer and they could never get it right. Now it is me and I will get it right. If I add up on paper what hp I am at it would be close to 600 and over 1000 foot pounds of TQ. The only thing I would like to add is a turbo and Maybe and injection system. But that's a big maybe on the injection system. I am also running a PAC break system if anyone who has done their Trans has a exhaust break tell me about it better or worse. I know it's a lot of questions and ready / righting but thanks for the help.

You posted a very similar thread on 9/22/12 and got lots of good advice and opinions. Not trying to be a jerk but why start a new thread with the same basic question??
Not much has changed in the industry in less than a month.

and I'd say you're closer to 500hp then 600hp with just the Banks stuff and sticks.
