13 city 15 highway on the winter fuel, 15 city 18 highway in the summer. I calculate by hand. My overhead says 23-24 thanks to the injectors and smarty, guess it thinks it's sipping the fuel.

I got 700Kms out of 100Liters of fuel on the hi-way driving anywhere between 110-125kph on winter fuel with 2-stroke and Amsoil diesel Concetrate in the tank. around town I get about 550kms on the same 100liters , a tank of fuel lasts me every two Days, and has since Sept 06.

Something no one has mentioned is that I've yet to see a speedo that is accurate on a truck when you run stock tires (at least on both the Dodge and chev I had) I have to run 265 75 16 instead of the stock size 245 75 16 speedo was out approx 8-10kph (6miles) I used a GPS to comfirm speed, and I'd suspect my truck is not the exception.

It seems to depend how you calcuate mileage but to me I'd say the average for a Cummins is in the 15-18 ball park city/hiway

I get 20-21 highway, 15-17 city (depending on winter blend etc) and 11.5-12.5 at 18K gross weight (trailer and cargo) from Virginia to Washington.

I just got 17-17.5mpg highway on a long trip with some big hills, flats, good variation. Running empty (no load towing or in bed). My overhead is within .1 mpg of hand calculated on several tries so I trust it. 15-16 in town.

I have my stock 34 gal. tank and added an aux. 31 gal. (ATI tank) bolted in my truck bed under my tool box.

My hand calulated in-town MPG is 17.5 - 18 MPG.

Does anyone know the true amount of fuel left (reserve amount) when the low tank light goes on? Is is 4 gallons?

there is not a calibrated amount or published amount, the best i have seen was reading somewhere in chrysler manual to assume approx 3-5 gals remain in tank when fuel light comes on. just do you own figures, fill up a couple times when light comes on. see how much it takes then subtract that from 34

I was getting around 15 with an auto and 305/17/16's on aftermarket wheels on the highway. I also have jammer 5's and a quad xzt but I was trying to be easy on her. I havnt ben able to check the mileage sense I put the 3rd gen aluminum wheels and stock bfg's on but I hope it better.
