Need help with my transfer case issues
Hi all my issue is a friend of mine was supposed to buy the 2500 which he never paid for so I repossessed it a couple of monthes ago. while he had it he put the truck in low range to get unstuck, and it wouldn't come out, finally after yanking on it it finally moved into 2 wheel,
now i have the truck back and I have been trying to figure it out it goes into 4 wheels drive but if you're not carefull it will easily go past 2 wheel and neutral into low range, problem is it doesn't engage low range at all the light comes on and the lever moves like 10 inches forward it just seems like there is some bigger issues, it doesn't seem to go into neutral to unlock the case at all either
also on a possible related note it feels like I have both rear wheel locked into the 4 wheel drive portion as when I turn at slow speeds it feels like the rear tires are fighting each other (if that makes any sense), now I dont need 4WD at the moment but will in the winter as I will be plowing so I may need low range at some point aslo
any help would be appreciated thanks

Differential fluid change and add friction modifier for track-lok/power-lok diff.

The fork gets worn any time the tires are rolling. The plastic pads are what wears, and they can be replaced easily. Just gotta split the case & get a decent set of retaining ring pliers.
