The story of my former ride.....
Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle. Someone who says they're going to do something..... that actually did.
A few years back, I sold my 93 to a guy from PA who claimed that he was purchasing the truck for his son who was going to restore it. Being my usual self, I said... "yada, Yada..... Yada ! .... yeah right"...
So forwards a couple of years, and apparently a man who kept his word....
I get a text from the dude who I sold my rusty 93 to. I sold it because I found a truck that didn't need the body work that the 93 did. since I'm a wrencher, and not a body man, I sold it, and found my new ride. I had gone through the truck with thousands of my own dollars and fixed what mechanicals I need to at the time to make it road worthy. I didn't do everything, but it still was pretty good from a mechanical standpoint, but I didn't know how to do body work, so it got sold...
Well, tonight, I get texts from the guy who RESTORED THE TRUCK !!!!! No, I don't mean a paint job... I mean a FULL RESTORATION ! OMG !!! I nearly crapped my pants when I saw the pictures.
So.... Here's the old rusty truck when I owned it...
and here it was being driven .... or I should say "trailered" away that fateful day...
