Funny how many people have said "you don't need your grid heaters or fuel heater, get rid of them". People will even tell you "oh, that's the winter blend. You don't need an anti-gel". Well, been here, done been towed by that. Around here, you don't know when or even if they start their "winter blend". So starting October 1 I start mixing in #1. You can get it "at the pump" around here at some stations. The last place you want to be is at the side of the road miles from anyone and it's that cold.

I was talking about the fuel heater that is on top of the fuel filter and below the intake plenum of the cylinder head.
Its amazing how much easier life is in the cold with working grids, fuel heater, block heater and a good shot of anti gel.

Yep I found that just plugging the old rig in cures most probs and winter fuel haha mind u it was minus 40C last november and I only plugged my truck in and she did just fine
