turbo play specs
just did a check on the good old hx35 today. still no end play but i think side play is getting bad? it moves a fair bit, doesnt hit the side when pushed all the way over but seems reaally close thing is there is hardly any clearance as it is so its hard to judge how bad it really is, but u can definitely feel the moving. is there a spec or way to measure the side-side play? thanks guys
ps it had no play of any kind 25000km ago when i bought it, but i guess its had a pretty hard life since i got it i felt the play in my bros 97 turbo and it had a little more side-side and some end play, but i dont wanna use that as my guide to keeping my engine safe lol

Radial play is normal. If it isn't contacting the sides, then it should be alright. Its hard to get a proper measurement on it, since the bearings are so close together, and the wheels are overhung so far, it'll exaggerate actual bearing clearance.
Axial play is easy to measure. When I rebuilt my S366 two years ago, it was about .025" before, and .004" after. My BB chargers have a bit more, .007" IIRC on my GT42.
