...based on what, an interweb post?

Seriously, though - I haven't heard they're different from a reliable source yet. Don't know why a major code revision would be implented for only half a model year, but they sure have stranger notches on their belts.

It appears meaningful that neither Marco nor Bully Dog mention the 2010's in their 'break through' announcements.
Reading between the lines, I thought the poster sounded confident in his knowledge?

He did... just digesting his "info" with a grain of salt based on other posts.

The new ECM "buzz" should've revealed a major difference like that already - based on past experience, IMO the 2010 S67 release is waiting for Marco to catch up with latest OEM SW flashes/revisions.

However, even though I didn't think it would affect Dodge/CTD, the new 2010 emissions regs might have required a significant change to the ECM that would force a completely new Smarty.

I don't think it would have since the 2008 was already rated for the 2010 regulations. However if there is any new inputs to the computer from the cab such as the WiFi, information center, etc. it may have changed how the computer needs to be accessed.
The WiFi built into it makes me wonder though, could the computer be updated without ever having to take it to the dealer?

Good point, I forgot about the WiFi - maybe one day we'll be able to get "drive-by" tunes... park next to a Big Dawg in the pits & pick up a few hundred ponies!

There is a possibility, but it would be tough to do. If it were set up that you could specifically request the update and place the truck into an update mode, it might work. But I don't seem them having the ability to push out an update automatically to your truck since you run into a whole bunch of issues around being connected long enough to download the update and when to actually apply the update that doesn't interfere with the normal usage of the vehicle. If they allowed you to manually initiate the download, then it would need to prevent you from moving or using the truck till the download was complete to ensure the whole process completes successfully.

I can just see it now, you turn the key off but the truck is still running, a screen pops up that says "shut down and install up dates? Yes No Remind me Later" And if you hit no it'll go to a blue fatal inception error screen.

Better yet, you're cruising down the interstate at 70 and it says it's downloaded updates and wants to restart now. And Toyota thought they had it bad...

Well finally got some time to work on a project of mine! Been a busy few months...

3/16" 2.5 x 1.5 for lowers and a couple of the uppers
1/4" DOM 1.75" (I think...) for adjustable uppers

Notched, beveled and plug weld holes ready to go

Adjustable uppers welded up, cleanup, grinding and sandblasting to come...

"Stack O' Welded out arms..."

Me tired of welding...

End links for adjustable top bar:

Hopefully soon I'll get the finalizing crap done...
