Heck of a nice guy and he will be missed.....Its a little known fact that he did most of the EDM injectors for the big boys like II and Bully Dog from what i understand. He just stayed comfortably in the background as other sold his re-branded sticks. RIP Jon....you will be missed......
Man that is a bummer deal! He was great to work with, he cut my DVs and made my set of 12V/24V injectors... Was a big help to q's that I had at the time... RIP..

When I had it the snake was way to boney (sp) to enjoy. to much work, like eating craw fish...

we used to hunt them, sell the live snakes for $2.50/ lb. now that was fun.

It was not fun at the time dealing with the cracked injector, but I am very very pleased with the Flux 1.8s! Smarty on 3, MP8 on zero percent.......and it feels as strong as before with Smarty on 9 and 100 percent. Maybe stronger.

I hate that I can't make the dyno this weekend. I'd love to dyno the truck with the new sticks and see the difference. Just my luck they would plan the dyno/sled pulls on a weekend we already had planned to go RVing/ATVing.......and pick up Jana's "new to us" 2004 Honda Rancher in Oklahoma. Jared's out for Spring break....so it seemed like the right time for a trip.

Better buy all the JD +50 you can find.....before it all switches to CJ blend. They already carry the CJ stuff in the JD in McKinney.

I've give up trying to find CI-4+ anymore in any common brand.....and will be mixing in some of Don's cam break in additive (high ZDDP) with each oil change. Im gonna test this current oil (Rotella CJ) with the additive and see what Blackstone says.

Wow, I have been gone from DTR for a while. I am now a married man! Jana and I set sail 2-28-10 Sunday...on Voyager of the Seas (Royal Carribean) after the small private wedding in the ship's "skylight chapel". The ship left Galveston and sailed that night and all the next day and we woke up Tues morning in Cozumel, Mexico. The snorkeling places were mostly closed due to high winds and surf.......but we rode a small scooter across the island and went swimming on the other side where the seas were somewhat calmer. I actually helped save a guy's life who was about to drown. His buddy was hollering for help on his behalf due to his exhaustion while swimming. I swam over to him and pulled him to shore. He was a local, not a tourist. We continued our time at Cozumel and the ship set sail for Grand Cayman. The seas were very rough there as well but not in this secluded cove where they tendered our ship and others as well. We took a quick tour of the island and then came back and snorkeled there in that cove which was teaming with marine life, including at least one lion fish. Then it was on to Jamaica. We stayed on land there.....going on a zipline tour up in the jungle mountains. I think there were 7 zip lines our group completed but the finale was a 1020 ft long zip line, 280 ft above the river. That was awesome! I think they said the average speed on it was about 35mph. Then we had 2 more days at sea on the ship. The food was incredible. We went ice skating, played putt putt golf, watched a movie in the theatre and several comedy shows. It was a great time to relax and enjoy a vacation and, in our case, honeymoon. These newer cruise ships are basically a huge floating resort hotel, 5 star restaurants, and suburban mall all in one.... 120,000 tons IIRC. Anyway, it's back to reality now.....and work.

Well it is now 4 AM, just got home.... Started on the truck at Cbrahs house at around 5:45pm, injectors pulled and new ones in by 7pm and that's where the fun started... turned out multiple "new" injectors are trashed. Had injectors in and out 4 times. and I drove home on the stockers.......

Back to the drawing board to find a set of GOOOOOD injectors to jam into my jalopy. I am not a pleasant person to be around right now. It will get worked out sometime soon I hope.

Under 2 hrs to install 3rd gen injectors is impressive! The rest.... not so much so!

I feel your pain! Weren't they 'new' factory injectors?
You sound fairly mellow after that nightmare. Bet it took the entire ride home to calm down!

Too cold for my pansy butt to be camping! Sure miss the days of having a camper....or at least Roberts camper.
