Brian, those topside creepers have alot of adjustment and can reach the highest of trucks. We had one when I worked at Relentless Diesel and it was awesome.

The bad......and the good. Bad: I probably won't make it on the 8th. Good: I will either still be in Colorado or on the way back.

Says (way down the page) that the padded rest extends to 64" height.
That should handle a 6" lifted CTD!!

If I come, which I should be able too. I will make a mean potato feast that is prepared on the grill, Probably for Sat. night.

also, pulled my tranny yesterday, took about 2 hours (may be rough trying to stab by myself), sure is nice having air.

took it in for bearings, seals, synchros, fifth gear nut. should be about $500.

my spare tranny idea went out the window when I realized the main (front) bearing was toast . So it is for sale now. would make a great core.

Inspected your connecting tubes?

Well guys less than a week to go!

I bought new set of patio furniture, a large umbrella for the table and a swing yesterday. My patio is still a work in progress but it will have to do for now. So anyway, we should all be able to sit and relax mostly in the shade. I also mowed a pretty good swath of that field behind my house for overflow parking, which I know we are going to need. I want to try not to jamb up the circle in front of my house if we can avoid it.

Is anybody doing any light wrenching projects? Or is this just a social meet?

I'm surprised you haven't tried talking us into finishing your patio for you.
No light wrenching unless I can get some assistance on hooking up a remote start (had the dang thing nearly a year) or there is a good way to dispose of coolant (going to flush mine finally).

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,.

Dang that's a great idea Matt!!! I'll go by home depot and pick up another pallet of concrete blocks and then the sand/stone place and pick up a cubic yard of sand......that will just about finish it. Thanks for offering. <jk>

Actually it's mostly done. I just need to lay about 50 more and call it good. But it's got plenty of room as is...I just want to finish it out. Im not very motivated when it's this hot. I need to do a bunch of plantings too...of shrubs, plants etc. ohhh,,,,and buy a firepit.

Keith had a topside creeper...worked great for somethings....but you have to watch it...as it can smash things if you dont set it right as it does have SOME give to it when you are on it......"6.0L Power Stroke" underhood emblems were the fav victom at his shop.....if you seen them you know why......
