Pac brake install?

I am thinking of ordering a Pacbrake this week. I have a trip planned for the last two weeks of June and would like to have one on the truck. I have a copy of install instructions and it doesn't look too bad. Anyone on here have any experience putting one on and could lend a hand? Is a June meet in the works? Any input would be appreciated.

I live a little ways from you in Waxahachie but if you haven't done yours yet, I'll be installing mine on Sat. if you want to drive down & watch/install yours, too. I haven't ever installed any but it should be pretty straight forward.

He already installed it. He took me for a ride in it and it works awesome! It is definately on my "list" now!

Good luck with yours.

Now that you mention it, you don't happen to have a torque wrench(ratchet), do you? That is the only thing I'm lacking for the install.

I have done a few of these exhaust brakes and still can't get my time down under 4 hours. That's on a lift using air tools and having my buddy install the wiring in the cab. Two man job to mount brake to turbo, one person to hold in position while another tightens clamp. Good Luck

The tranny is AWESOME!! I love it! Whenever you get one (DTT or otherwise) you will be amazed at the difference as it helps the truck do everything better. Towing, leaving from a red light, pulling up a hill. I know they are pricey...it hurt the wallet....but I grin ear to ear everytime I feel it.
