Sorry to hear that!

He seemed pretty peppy at Alvarado.

BTW - the MN DTR chapter is having a Spring Fling dyno event in MSP this Saturday...

RJ if your not looking for good tires I have 4 tires that would work for ya. Im pretty sure there 265 for 16's

and if not for like a $100-150 I can get you some pretty decent tires from one of the mexican tire shops around town.

Thanks, but your are 17". That's my problem...... no surplus of used 265x16" cause all trucks for last 4 yrs have gone to 17's.
Looking outside the box and may have a solution. Stay tuned!
But if any second gens want to part with your spares because you have gone oversized... let me know!

Thanks, I only need them with small amout of tread... maybe 5000 miles left. Problem is I'm really only comfortable racing on E rated rubber.... if there really worn.
I've checks about 6 tire shops and all say same thing! I've found lots of P265/75/16's but not interested. Think I need 10 ply LT's at a minimum.
If you know where some are .... let me know! I'd pay $100.00 and come get them.

Don't know on 3rd Gens, but 2nd Gens say not to use ATF due to Hydro Boost assist to the brakes.

RJ

Yeah I knew you were using PS fluid. My point to Max was just to not overlook that as a maintenance item.........and thanks to you for bringing it to our attention. (it's the most overlooked fluid on our trucks...)

The owners manual on the 3rd gens says to use ATF +4. Not sure why 2nd gens would be different.....but the ATF I put in at the last meet seems to be working fine. Brakes too!

Yup, Same height Follow you now. Thanks for thinking of me.... just has to be better way.
I'll run on my 35's if need be. If I remember correctly... they are still good for low 13's!

Tool tray was installed w/i 48 hrs. Fit/works great!
Redline is up in the air? Waiting to hear from Matt . If he's going to Ardmore with his new truck, I'll be there...watching. If not...probably Redline!
On a big savings kick for rest of June so maybe nowhere?? Went way over budget on my truck the last 60 days... Wheels, Pulse, Springs, Track Bar Bushings from Mike, RAD, Tranny Solenoid & Transducer .... and a few other goodies!

Anyone interested - The least expensive item (LazarSmiths Offset Trackbar Bushings) did more than anything else, except needed tranny parts. Tightened up front end nicely...drives like a new truck! I highly recommend them for anyone over 100,000 miles! If you haven't lifted your front end...get non-offset bushings.

I need to get in line for the non-lifted, non-offset bushings. Mine is not too bad, but at a little over 200K, I'm sure they would make a lot of difference.

Hey Mike, when will you be ready?
