Another good Dodge/Cummins (and one Chevy/Cummins) weekend at The Ranch!

As usual, Micah and his ODRA crew put on another good event at the dyno in Burleson. Too bad we had to leave early, but it's a long hour and half of heavy traffic back to The Ranch, and I could hear something cold and cool and a lot of good BS....err conversation.....calling me.

Dennis (cbrahs), Evan, Nick, Rob, Mike and RJ came out to The Ranch and spent the night. Robert and Jared came out and stayed until about 2 AM. Also, a new member, David, came by for awhile Friday night and Saturday, but had to work and couldn't make the dyno.....maybe next time. It was a long drive from Albuquerque for Dennis and Evan, but I'm sure they enjoyed the facilities and ambiances of The Ranch. A lot of good conversation with new folks is alway a lot of fun, but crashing a nearly 3 AM is getting a little hard on this old fart!

A lot going on next month, so not sure if we will GTG. Hopefully, come September, we'll have a good turnout for a weekend at The Ranch. Who knows, I might even fix some killer chili at the next go-round.

Oops, almost forgot a couple of important things. Mike's (XLR8R) son Evan has signed up to join the US Army after he graduates and Nick's younger brother is a new, proud member of the US Marine Corps! I'm as proud of these two young men as if they were family! Congratulation's and the best to both of them!

Just made it home guys! I had a BLAST! Thanks for the hospitality and great meeting you. It was fun at the dyno and I was surprised of the numbers I put down with the truck being stock except the smarty. I am going to make it a plan to come out more often and hang out. The ranch was fun and we did a lot of BS'ing (i mean conversing).

Thanks again!

Chris

Dillon did 554 w/o H20/meth and 653 +/- with!!

Had good weekend..... got cooked in the sun Saturday & Sun (100*) but great truck bed sleeping weather at night.....low 70's and 5-10 kt breeze! Meet 4 new DTRer's and saw lots of nice trucks.... especially liked cbrahs CTD.
Couldn't imagine 8" stacks but they look 'proportional' on a 6" lifted Maga Cab!

Thanks, once again, to El Presidente for use of his Ranch!

Dyno sheet has Chris M's truck laying down 574.2 HP on fuel with the MP-8 stack (569.0 HP Smarty alone on, IIRC, TNT-R #9)... kinda low, IMO - but it'll be a lot stronger next time.

Nice to see that the H2O/CH3OH works as advertised; ~ 80HP with the lines purged.

We started replacing my front rotors on Saturday and finally got them finished on Sunday afternoon. What a pain! 200K miles on the originals is probably why they were so hard to get off. Much thanks to Mike and Nick for all the help and the rest of the guys for the moral support.

So it was 574 HP....... and 654 HP with H20/Meth.
Matt had told me the H2O/Meth was a full 100 HP?? That's what I thought I heard, anyway!

Seen them before but personally I wouldnt want one on my truck. I think they look kinda stupid and I dont know of to many people that will read it and think "gee i better move over since the sticker says so" Oh well just my opinion.
