Nothing to it! Chris Millers seriously strong 06 auto will be there, driven by his son, Dillon...... who has never dynoed before either!
I'll be riding with him and be glad to ride along with you, if you want?
Basically, you just take it up through the gears to OD...level of at 60 mph (I use 70 mph with my 3.55 rear end)....nod to the dyno operator your ready to start....and roll into full throttle till about 3200 rpm+/-.
Manuals do exactly the same routine but can start their graph at a lower speed because they have no worries about possible downshift!

Eli, it's pretty easy. Just follow RJ's instructions above. I always get up around 70 too, then lay into it.
Actually, since i've never tried it, I wonder if the lock up switch would cure that and allow for a lower speed??? RJ?

Well, no dyno or Ranch for me. We've got a crew coming in to build a new set of cattle pens at the house in Giddings and they moved us up the schedule. So I've got to head down there this weekend to tear down the old pens.
Been a while since I've been around, so I'll go back to page 3 and say "Congrats" to Brian.
And I also realized that I never posted by news here either. I'm engaged as well. We're working on wedding plans for next year in March (part of why I've been so busy lately).

Sorry you can't make it.
Congrats on the upcoming wedding!
One of my daughters is getting married in Colorado next month. Does that count as news?

Congrats Justin!! I got me one I need to hang on too as well. MAX was drooling when she starting naming parts under the hood of his truck and helping me install the BHAF on Matt's 3rd gen.
