newbie:(

trying to figure out where i need to call home
i live in abilene texas and have no idea what my chapter is

Any of them. Mine (Stephenville #42) is only 1-1/2-2 hours from Abilene.

#8 is North Texas, so pretty much the metroplex. They have a lot of their meets along I-35 so I mine is closer, but theirs is worth it to go to #8

A good bit of my members are underage and we don't have a place to meet most of the time is where we struggle in comparison to #8.

Yeah forgot to mention the land thing. Maybe I can talk my wife into letting me have a big party on the ranch when I get back from Iraq.
