Need to borrow a B/W companion in North Texas

Buddy bought this, is picking it up in Houston next weekend:

He ordered a 5th wheel hitch for his truck, but is concerned it might not get here in time. Does anyone in North Texas have a B/W 5th wheel companion I can borrow or rent for a day or two? I offered to pick it up for him, but I have the B/W GN, not the companion (yet).

Thanks,
Rob

The empty weight is about 9800 lbs. Not as bad as I would have thought. It will be heavily loaded though when he fills it up though. He has an 08 F250. Nice truck.

You could have mine but I'm in Cincinnati. He might wanna go ahead and call a tow-truck if he's pullin it with a Furd.

In all seriousness I would post this in the Tow Section also might get some more help there

Thanks for the offer Eric (already in tow section too )
As far as the tow truck, I had thought of that I am still going to try and borrow one even if his hitch does arrive (just as a backup of course). That way he can call me if anything happens.

I thought that too, but according to the Ford site: the diesel 4x4 F250/F350 SRW Crew Cab with 3.73 axle is rated at 15,300 lbs. max 5th wheel weight. The Fords are rated higher than any other brand if I remember right.

Rob I still have my Drawtite 5th wheel hitch that goes in the rails but I know that doesn't help ya.

I'd be willing to help yall out with my truck next weekend if need be. Just let me know. I have a friend in Cypress I have been wanting to see anyway.

Thanks for the offer Robert, I really appreciate it, but that would be a huge imposition If this were an "emergency" situation I would ask.
My backup plan is to buy a Valley Hitch adapt plate and Valley slider from Southwest Wheel in Dallas if his stuff doesn't come in.
