Well the battle is over. My mom, Joannie McCann, passed away last night in her sleep. She had been fighting cancer for almost 8 yrs now. It finally won. She is not my bio mom, but has been my "MOM" for 11 yrs now. I have prepared myself for this day but it aint working to well. Cannot even get an early flight out of Washington either. Got to wait until tomorrow. She is with the Lord and no longer suffering and I'm ok with that. Really sucks I couldnt see her one last time. We didnt know it was going to be this short.

Man I'm sorry to hear that. I kno how you feel. I lost my mom an valentines day this year. Just out of the blue. With no warning. I'm only 21 and the realaity has set in that shell never see me get married. Never kno my children or be a grandma. Its a hard thing to swallow. But atliest she's not in any pain anymore and with the good lord. If you need anbody to talk to or anything feel free. And once again I'm sorry your going through this. Your family will be in my prayers
