I talked to James today. All my parts are in. He is really busy catching up after his bout with the flu for about 2 weeks. He sounds much better now. Last time I talked to him he sounded like death warmed over.

We are working on scheduling now. Prob is, he is busy at the moment....and then we have Dyno day March 15th which I don't want to miss....then it's spring break and I need the truck to pull my trailer.....etc. etc. We will get it done...just not sure on the scheduling yet.

FWIW, I ran my truck in 2nd gear.....4 lo. 3.73 rear axle ratio with 35'' mud terrains.

I have no idea on rpm, speed etc. I just remember watching my EGT gauge go from 1200 to something higher in a hurry....and me backing out of it a little. And the happiness of accomplishment without any (known) carnage.

That is weird. It sure was driving like it was pulling. Are you sure you aren't talking about the Chevy conversion? He did not have a front driveshaft.

nope. definitely a ford. Its a cream or beige color right? It sure didn't look the axle was pulling. Your back tires were spinning and the fronts weren't.

i will be un able to make the denton meet, i have rattlesnakes to tend too out at the worlds largest rattlesnake round up in sweetwater texas...

also my wish to tote around a (semi) Heavy trailer came thru my guess on gross weight is around 23k, i will know tomorow when i make it to the dump.

the truck performs wonderfully, i cant say that for the trailer though it is severely overwieght and got real "squirly" over 55mph.

i wish i had a trailer like Rob's!!
