February Meet will be in Alvarado, TX
I'm leaving here bout 5pm to head down to Dallas... Going to spend Fri and Sat around the Dallas area w/ the parentals and the sis, going to the Mavs game Fri eve (woo hoo, not really...
)... Will cruise down with them back home and head back north on Sunday early afternoon... That's the plan anyways!
Ur right it is pretty close to yours... Just in a 3.9" barrel... Bit more compact.
No doubt they are both great guns...Really I think my only real issues with the sig is this line right here: "3000 of us carry them"... Sigs are a dime a dozen, seems like everybody and there grandma has one... My 'wanting to be different' gene is pointing the other direction.. (sad isn't it??

)I would hardly call the Sigs a "dime a dozen"!
They are very expensive weapons. We just happen to have 3000 of us on the dept...and that is what the dept issues us because they know them to be top quality. But instead of taking the standard issue 9mm....I bought my own personal .357 sig at the discounted rate of around $750-800 a couple of years ago.No problem if you prefer a different weapon. But don't take my comment about the 3000 of them....to mean that the Sigs are cheap or of lesser quality. I meant it to mean that even with 3000 of us carrying them, everyday,....It is a proven gun since we have so FEW problems with them.
I don't see the general public with Sigs everyday.

They are both proven, both reliable, etc... But cabelas keeps about 50sigs in stock and about 5 paras... Just simply because the sig is more common, which is fine... Maybe I want to be less common!
lol Both are great weapons... I'm just having a heck of a time deciding on style of weapon!
both are going to set me back $600-850 so I want to do it right!
I mean come on it could be an Helix 2 for the truck!
Well got the high idle and exhaust brake hooked up to my remote start key fob... Pretty neat I can sit here push a button, truck starts, push another button, hey it idles up to 1200RPM, push another and hey ebrake kicks on!! Man almost want a cold morning to try it out!!
almost......
Still working on my WTS relay... wire I picked seems to be energized all the time?? Not what the service manual says... hmm got to find a different wire! Heck I could just run a wire directly from the relay... guess that would do it too! lol

Brown wire is brown wire, doesn't matter what unit it comes from, right

Referring to hooking up the remote start in Tyler's truck

Now that I've made fun of you, want to help me install my new air tank and compressor (new but had sitting around for 3 years)

HA HA! sure sounds good!
Guess I'm not going to get my turbo rebuilt by the pull
Could be bad.... eh oh well...By the way the XLR8R trailer is going to be there correct? May need that for the ride home!
Yeah, your Jetta should fit quite nicely on that

If Mike isn't bringing his trailer down, I can bring mine, if it will work. It is only 83.5" (just shy of 7') from inside pipe rail to inside pipe rail. Never measured the width of my truck.
