Wish I could have joined you Daniel, but I have to work on Saturdays now unless I burn some time. My days off are SM now instead of FS. I miss the FS!!

Jana and I just went to Port Aransas for our 1 yr anniversary trip and now we are getting ready for spring break soon. We are headed to the Ozarks for another round of RVing and ATVing.....so any extra time off is tough right now.

Hope your truck did good! Did you dyno?

No dyno. They brought it out but nobody got any pulls. It broke before the first truck even got on.

Guess it's time for a nose-job!

Maybe you should invest in an Inferno Red or Solar Yellow Ram?

Or more lights and another coat of polish on the Ute.

All the above!
I was really ticked off until he jumped out of his SUV yelling "Are you OK? I'm So sorry...I did not see you! Sure your OK?"
All the time he's bleeding on his forhead, limping and holding his broken wrist!
How can you stay mad?

Have you got an estimate on the truck repair yet? So instead of a deer strainer, you have a SUV strainer...

I was beginning to wonder the same thing.... Been pretty slow around here..........and I have to admit, I have been busy......busy with different work schedule, Jana, Jared in school, my Mom closeby in the nursing home etc. etc...I don't get on DTR near as much as I used to. Perhaps, once or twice a week now for a few minutes. I miss it and I miss our GTGs.

I still thoroughly enjoy driving my truck every day and occasional RV/ATV trip.

Maybe, if serious.
Not sure if the damage got back to the frame, but it's close. If so, it's totalled and I'm in deep do-do. Never see close to what I've got in it.
If they try to fix up to where it was, that means a Ranch Hand, since UTEs are no longer being made for 2nd Gens.

If they replace it...don't know if I get to keep it. Anyone know how that works?

I think that you can choose to keep the parts they remove. The shop would just be trashing them anyway, so I doubt they'd care either way.

If they total it, I have a stock turbo (just need a downpipe) that you can put on to pull the twins off. I also have a closer to stock size (DD2) set of injectors to put in so you can pull the Machs.

Thanks... I've got a set of stock injectors I bgt when I was serious about trading my CTD in.
If I can strip it and get a decent totalled settlement... could do ok. Just a lot of work.
Probably have to buy it back after settling, right?

Already picked out the Buckstop replacement bumper I want... if they'll pay
But that UTE really did not look terrible. Separated at a joint. All bent up where it attaches to frame, but could be fixed (easy for Mike). Just don't know about structural integrity.

Just a little day dreaming before the adjuster shows up today.
It's a woman out of Duncan, OK ... went to school to be an insurance adjuster.... no body shop experience?? How does that compute?

What's to worry?

You have a cherry wrench from Jiffy Lube showing up to estimate how much it will cost to repair your engine...

I recommend making your own list of parts & labor required to catch what they miss.
From pix, probably won't get close to ~$13K value (not sure what insurance's max repair % is).
