Any pain involved?
Thanks!

Well the 4 weeks is due to me being farsighted. Near sighted folks get instant gratification. (there corneas get flattened) me being farsighted my corneas get over corrected or steepened like a mountain peak and then over the next 4 weeks it will settle down and flatten back out.

Pain was worse than I was instructed it would be. The sensitivity to light shortly after was awful. But after we made it back to the hotel and I slept for about three hours pain was minimal. I had more of a discomfort for about 5 min a day for the first three days.

^^ It was pain from the light. in the dark the pain was minimal.

Now all seems well, still just letting my eyes recover over time and being very careful with them. Like wearing safety glasses in the shower and such. The eyes did not slow me down from riding the quad in Medicine Bow National Forest in Vedauwoo WY today, we had a blast and I only wiped out once in a snow drift!

Can't help you on Mineral Wells.

Any word from XLR8R on results from the $25,000 Drag Shootout in Florida on Sat?
He had a Hell of a cutting edge entry.... if they got it put together in time?

There were two drag races in Florida this past weekend. One was NADM....
That's not the one.

Mike went to Bradenton.FL. Private set up race... winner take all...diesel trucks only.
Factory frames, fuel only. Could not find anything on Internet on Sunday??

We all saw the white truck at the GTG. Some may not know it was a long bed shortened to a very short, short bed, with about 600 lbs gutted off it and custom head, turbo, cam, intake and injectors. Running 4 wt engine oil and (I think) 50 cetane Diesel fuel.

i was at the florida race. Had a blast, 4-5 trucks in the 10's! not bad for a single 66 and no nitrous and 6000lb minimum!.

We saw mikes rig pull in about 25 minutes before the last qualifying round started but he never unloaded it? Not sure what happened there...

Well the event was nice to be outside for once. No smoke in the lungs or nose to clean out. Didn't see hardly anyone I knew. Only Bobby, his wife, and Anna. I did hooked up the 2010 to the sled. Didn't do to bad for road tires.
