(Auto probably because of daily driving in DFW) SRW was for Amy

Crotex: You're getting closer to a 2011 truck. Already have the wheels.

RJ
Thanks!

Auto for a few reasons.
Trim package
Traffic
Amy (even though her Jetta is a 6spd manual, little different on the truck)
Towing is much happier on the 6psd auto than the 4... Not a big deal lightly loaded, but a huge PITA loaded heavy.
Nice to drive no doubt

Will say I knew I would hate and already do hate the dang electronic transfer case....

Nice truck! (though I still don't like 4th Gen styling)

Bringing it to Charlie's next weekend for show & tell?

Took me a long time to care for the 3rd gen bubble look too!

I have three things that could kill a ranch trip, corsicana project, work in FWISD, and possibly a buddy of mine coming in from CA.

Would like to make it out at least for the evening or something, just not sure if the planets will align yet or not.

I figured he'd bring the '01 instead with a 'for sale' sign to see if he could get any bites from the group in person.

But it is a nice looking new ride! I didn't even bother to get in the new ones when we were at the fair last weekend because I figured it would just make me want one even worse.

Beautiful truck Brian!! I knew you were going to get a new or almost new 4th gen. I think they are beautiful!!!! If I was going to buy a new truck, I would get what you got except perhaps in black. I'd prob get a manual g56 trans next go around but i've driven the new 6speed autos and they are sweet.

As for me, no more new trucks for a long long time, if ever. I don't want payments and I don't want to eat any more depreciation. Cash is king!

But if new truck fever bit me, I'd buy what you have right there!!!!! Beautiful!! and Congrats!! Hope to see you next weekend.

I went from no payments for the past 3-4 yrs to 2 payments... Darn...

Hopefully pay them both off within 3 yrs.. Never taken more than 18 months to pay a vehicle off, but this truck will kill that for me!

Will princess Tyler be there? How much you want to bet his new 400HP/800TQ 6.7L Ford wouldn't lay down over 300HP on the rollers?

Chair, snacks and sleeping gear if you plan to spend the night.

He said he would be in Denton on Saturday. Surely he won't have the nads to put it on the rollers! Ha! Although, another <500 HP truck fits him fine.
