April Meet at The Ranch
I went through the same thing and i called 9 diffrent machince shops including my cousins shop which is Cameron Machine Shop in Richardson..she still wanted to charge me 250...To be honest it is so much easier to get a air powered drimel tool a couple of diffrent bits one rough and then a smooth one..i know it seems like it will mess it up but it wont..it took 5 mins a wheel..and it doesnt matter if its not a perfect cirlce cus once its torqued down it dont matter..if you would like to see mine i could meet up with ya this weekend i live at custer and 121..
Thanks Preston

Are you going to run center caps with the H2s? If you are, I definitely wouldn't be worried about opening up the centers by hand. If you're not, then you may want to be more careful to make sure you have a nice fit.
All the machine shops and machinists I know are about 4 hours from here. Doesn't really do you any good.

Not sure about the center caps. Most likely not. I think it looks a little "tougher" running them open. Plus I don't think I can paint the caps black very successfully for the long haul. I don't want to change the theme of my truck, I just want to move forward with the H2s to enhance it.
If you have any friends down near Giddings that can do that type work maybe we can work something out and take them down with you next trip? There is no particular hurry on them. I just want them professionally machined to fit then I can take them over to the powdercoater here in McKinney.

Thanks Preston. Perhaps we will have a GTG pretty soon and check them out then?

Well I had an amazing afternoon. A co worker and myself went up to Estes Park near Fort Collins CO and went for a drive up in the mountains. It was so cool looking and cool (45* at 12K feet) .
The Dodge had EGT's in the 700's going 25mph in 3rd! those seemed much higher than normal, on the way down coasting in 3rd the needle fell all the way down to 100 degrees on the mile stretches of deceleration. water temp hovered around 210 on the climb up the mtns.
here are some pics!

The air is thinner up there.
One of my daughters got married in Estes Park three years ago this month. We stayed there for a week. Really nice, really cool, but really expensive. We caught several fish out of the Big Thompson River.

Reminder, if you haven't done it:
I back flushed the cooling coils on the truck and the house AC, and they both cool better. The center outlet on the truck dropped 10*.
