Thanks for thinking about us!

For me..... once again, Lake Texoma did it's thing. Weather more or less deminishes over the water and usually splits around the lake. Does not regroup till east of Durant.
We only got 1" of rain and a lot of wind. Bad stuff went North of us.

I believe everything in Texas was very uneventful....save some wind!

What is the going rate of a dyno these days, since I am not going to make the trek to NM for the dyno day I would like to get on the rollers and see what ol' red does. I am in Fort Worth. Speedtek? the dyno shop in Burleson ?

Spend your $ on fuel & go back to Albuquerque for the dyno... you might win a free ride on the rollers (we're donating ours to the raffle).

You could call them, but I don't think either is set up for walk-ins?
Best rates are always at the Duno events.... due to # of participants.

Also, Burleson has had serious trouble with their dyno, and Holtom City Dyno is only accurate , IMO, below 500 hp.
I was impressed with Flash Automotives Dyno (Albuquerque). Interesting to see loss of HP at 5000' of altitude and, from my experience, their Sea Level Correction factor was right on. A Knowledgeable operator make a big difference in accuracy of results! Flashes people seemed to really know their stuff. (Was also impressed that they all volunteered their time...and their Saturday... for the Charity event).

John Issacs Dyno (at Alvarado Sled Pull the last two times) seemed very accurate also. You might wait for their next event.

Going Rate at the events is $40-$50.00. No idea what they charge for a "one off". Many do it at an hourly rate.
