Okay guys gonna need help on this one. Just got back from New Mexico and took the truck for first drive since the swap. Heres the problems:

I can only find 6 slots in the shift fork.

I try to hit reverse, and the truck lunges forward like Im starting out.

I go for overdrive from 5th, and the tranny grinds and starts trying to go backwards like its in reverse or something.

As for doing the swap, it was really straight forward, seems like it was just swapping one nut and the job was done. I need help ASAP, and will post this in the 3rd gen DT section too since its a g56. Thanks guys.

 

I dont know yet if I will be around Friday afterall. Pretty tough schedule this week, will know by weeks start though.

 

Alright, I'll plan for 6pm then. I might be a little late. Gonna have dinner with my girl and she'll probably be coming along too.

 

Randy, if you don't make it, what are the alternatives for a place to meet?

 

Lets just move it to next friday so me and scamp can make it for once, and since randy doesn't know yet anyway

I finally got my roommate Ross on here. His sn is rossjcoxjr once they get him activated. Its looking like we can still meet friday.

 

Haha, not trying to move it around or anything, I just wanted to make it for once. I'll be out of town from this friday to next wednesday, so next thursday or friday, or even this week before friday works good for me. But I don't want yall to move it around or anything, if I can't make it I just can't

 

Heres an idea. Can anyone make it on this thursday? That would be best for me anyway.
