Whew, both utility quads fit w/o turning them :)

Finally got a chance to put both of our ATV's in the garage of our Raptor. Has an 8'x 10' garage. Was worried they both wouldn't fit sideways and that I would have to turn them
They both just fit (with stock tires):

Mine is a 2006 Polaris Sportsman 800 and the wife's is a 2004 Polaris Sportsman 400.
I still have about 2-2.5' in front of them for storage containers and a 1-1.5' behind them. Should be able to move them all the way forward and get my XR-250 in there sideways

Good Job Rob! Glad they could fit.

If they wouldn't.......what was plan B? How could you turn them to fit? Would towing a small utility trailer behind even be an option if you need to take 3?

You and the Ms. should consider a trip to Colorado at some point. I can give you some suggestions on where to go ride if you get to that point.

A little water on the deck makes sliding ATV's around much easier.

Sometimes it's easier to back in the 1st one, then drive in the 2nd. Wider in the rear of the quads!!!

Plan B was to turn 'em sideways using a jack.
Colorado is on our short list of places to go (especially after she saw your pics ).
I am thinking of looking at a small fold-up trailer that I could squeeze in the garage. That way, I can transport the quads to the riding areas without having to haul the 5'er to the trailhead. One in the bed and one on the trailer.
I really would like to find a place where you can ride right from camp.

Taylor Park Is where you wana go. Hundreds if not thousands of miles of trails all accesible rite from your new home on wheels. If ya want a campground with full hookups its there or if you are like me you can boondock anywhere you want. There is endless places to park the camper out away from everyone else and have your own little secluded hidaway. The riding varys from boring yet scenic gravel roads to very fun tecnical and still very scenic riding. Its 850-900 miles from my house and Ive been there 5 times in the last few years. We ride for 6-9 days each trip and cover up to 100+ miles a day with minimal gravel road riding. I have yet to see it all. We skipped it last year and this year to try Utah and its fun but not on the same scale as Taylor Park. Utah has litteraly thousands of miles if not not tens of thousands of miles of trails but they are not nearly as scenic as Taylor Park. there are some nice veiws in Utah but all of the veiws in Taylor are nice. Check out the pics in my sig. the ones that come up are of teh 06 trip to Colorado and then there is a album with pics of the 07 trip as well.

This was home the last 2 trips out there.

some of the scenic riding.

same pic not zoomed in

The veiw from up there.

OK Ille quite now. Theres abought 500 more in the link in my sig between the 2 albumbs plus Utah and the Black Hills.

Awesome pics Brandon (both here and in your links).
Thanks for the info on Taylor Park. Will definitely look into that. I need someplace that has a mix of technical riding and a little easier (for the wife) and that looks like it. Great views, great camping and you can ride from the campsite. I wish we hadn't already booked our vacation with my family this year to the coast.

I didn't make it to Taylor Park, but that definately looks like a place with great potential for next time.

The idea, Rob, of bringing a little utility trailer is a good one. We brought one but we had to as I made the mistake of staying at a full KOA campground and paying their high prices.

On future trips I will wind up boondocking someplace, like Taylor Park or along the road beside the Arkansas River. It never hurts to have a small trailer to take your quads someplace else after you have set up camp.

Beautiful pics Brandon!

My Patio Hauler is 8' wide, but my Foreman and Rincon do not fit side by side.

The last Patio Hauler I had was a 10' long garage, so turning the 1st one sideways was no big deal on the flat floor.

The 2nd one, however, half on the ramp was not easy. I could do it myself, but figured eventually I'd kill my back. I added a mini-jib crane that helped, but it was still a pain.

This bigger Patio Hauler has a 14' garage, so I don't have to turn the 2nd one, and I have room for another motorcycle along side the 2nd quad.

Anyway, nice setup. Not having to turn them would be nice.

Can't double tow here in Oregon...
