I know that the 2002 to the 2003 is totaly different. I wasn't going to try to use a 2002 Edge on a 2003 no. All county and state trucks mounted with snow plows except summer months. Nothing new to us here. State DOT runs a 10' high blower to clear the shoulders of the highways to keep Sierra Passes clear. They are able to keep US-50 open with all the big equipment. Sometimes they must close it to shoot down potential avalanches after major storms. <br><br>Now down Hollywood way your truck would look queer to those people. Up this way we have lots of rednecks. El Dorado County voted 2:1 Republican this election. Liberals don't get elected.

Joe, <br><br>El Dorado County is east of Sacramen to County. It starts on the eastern edge of Folsom. It straddles Hwy US-50 and goes to the Nevada State Line. Placerville is the County Seat. South Lake Tahoe is the largest city. About half of Lake Tahoe is in El Dorado County.<br><br>I live mid-way between Sacramento and S. Lake Tahoe. Our temperatures are usually 7-10 degrees warmer than Lake Tahoe which has an elevation of 6200 ft. Our elevation is 3300 ft.

 

Ya this was way down south, Escondido area.

 

Mopar, That would be somewhat of a strange sight. Those people see surfboards in January and Feb. Lowest temps are the mid-thirties. Those that ski drive 500 miles. The swimming pools are open year round. And Flower growers grow flowers year round. That would be like a snow plow on a beach in Hawaii.
