WD Hitch Brackets Problem

Gee, I guess I'm screwed. I mean I haven't had any problems in the past, but now that I know about this.......
I'm gonna get more serious about figuring out my tongue weight now.
I mistyped. 12' 4" from the front of the box, plus 7' 8" from the rear of the box, and you get 20'.
I guess it might be worse than you theorized, since I also have to count the magnification the tongue leverage adds to the equation.

I wonder how much of a hassle it is to relocate the axles. You ever done it?

Without seeing the underside of your float, I would say that it may be easier than you think to relocate the axles.........it might just be a matter of torching off the spring hangers (you can buy new ones cheap so you don't have to go through the fuss of trying to reuse them) and welding them on in the correct location.........and of course relocating your fenders.........

If you have access to a tape measure, torches and a welder, then you are set.......should probably take an afternoon with some help from a friend.....
