Travel Trailer A/C

I have a roof top A/C unit by RVP on a 1998 travel trailer and was wondering if anybody knows what type of refridgerant is used and do they have sevice ports like on a automotive 134A system. I looked in my manuals and on rvp site and could not find what type of refridgerant is used. Not able to climb on roof at this time to take a look.

Thanks for any help.

RV A/C's are basically a window unit made to operate through the bottom instead of the front. I am reasonably sure they all use R-22 the same as window units. I changed a compressor on one a few years age and it was R-22.

You will not likely find service ports on these units. These are sealed units and seldom need any attention as far as refrigerant charge is concerned.
