trailer Tire problems
I had a perfectly good normal looking tire blow this past weekend coming down the mountains in Kentucky with my 3500 on the trailer. That was not a good feeling. That tire totally disintegrated. I think like someone mentioned earlier that it picked up something and leaked down between stops until it blew. I bet we passed 30 cars with flat tires on the trip to Indiana and back. There is so much garbage on the roads now you never know. Saw a guy right in front of us hit a deer and we nearly caught what was left of the poor girl next.

HERE'S Michelin's webpage for the XPS Rib - click on the Sizes and Specs tab for more information on tire diameters, load ratings, etc.

Always balance the trailer tires and check the alignment. Most trailer dealers do not balance the tires which causes lots of problems. Check the front to back distance from axle to front of the trailer they should be the same. If either of these are off then you will have problems.
