towing and tranny services

I have a 05 dodge ram 2500 with I was told the 48re transmission and I tow a 34' travel trailer that ways about 8000lbs and was wondering about changing the fluid in tranny, I tow it about 10 times a year and right know I am at the 30000 mile mark. My book says in maintainance b which I was told to follow says drop pan, change filter and refill and adjust bands. Some of the shops around here say to flush to and some say that I wont need it yet, also some say that the bands are adjustable and some they are not, I got two different answers from dodge dealer. Any info on all of this would be appeciated. Thanks alot.

If you do the pan only , you only change about 1/4 of the fluid , so I like the flush , after filter & band adjust ,
As for fluid , I would check the condition of the fluid and change accordingly , this takes some familiar/knowledge , as the fluid starts turning from red to brown [ red=new , brown=burnt ] change , regardless of millage .
