Tire Poll, 2WD, Front, Rear?
I got my 2wd Dodge diesel stuck on gravel in a COE Park while trying to pull my TT out of a steep incline. Have rear locker and buried the rear tires. Considering a wider more aggresive treaded tire for the rears. I have stock original 265-70R-17's on now.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Go with a MT or a good AT. Toyos have a good reputation around here.
Put some more weight on the rear end too, my I have had to use the 4wd on mine several times to get moving on flat grass / gravel lots.

An AT will get you out of spots like that. The problem is, you have to put up with the AT on the other thousands of miles, too.
Use a Michelin LTX M/S tire. It's quiet and long lasting on the highway, 10 ply, and can really dig in and get you moving when you need it.

Thanks for all replies. I'm guessing you all w/2wd trucks run the same tire front and rear so that is what I'll be doing. Looks way cool I think to do so. Goodyear use to run adds indicating the need for diff. tread patterns for front and rear.
